In which language are the online courses conducted?
All our online courses are conducted in English. It is therefore required that you have good knowledge and understanding of the English language in order to complete the training.
What is the difference between an online and a distance education?
The online courses via Nackademin/Noroff have no scheduled lessons, which means you can study when and where you want. In a distance education, teaching is conducted remotely with scheduled lessons where you need to be present digitally. The online courses are in English and distance courses are in Swedish.
What does it mean to study an online course?
An online education at Noroff via Nackademin suits you who want a little extra freedom and flexibility during your studies. All online courses consist of digital content in the form of pre-recorded lessons and/or digital study material that students can access anytime and anywhere. The courses are generally shorter than traditional university of applied sciences courses and can be taken at full or half-time – perfect for those who want to combine studies with work or other fun!
Are the online courses CSN-eligible?
All online courses are CSN-eligible, which means you can apply for grants and loans for your time as a student. You can also apply for a loan for the tuition fee as well as additional cost loans when the studies are conducted at our Norwegian partner school Noroff.
