How cookies are used on Nackademin’s website

Cookies are small text files stored on the visitor’s computer. Nackademin uses cookies to improve the website for the visitor, including providing anonymous statistics. No personal information, such as email or name, is saved about the visitor.
We also use remarketing to show ads to previous visitors when they visit websites that are part of Google’s Display Network or when they search for terms related to your products or services on Google.

On July 25, 2003, the Electronic Communications Act came into force. According to it, we must inform about:

  • that the website contains cookies,
  • what these cookies are used for, and
  • how cookies can be avoided.

There are two types of cookies:

  • A permanent cookie remains on the visitor’s computer for a specified period. It is used, for example, in functions that indicate what is new since the user last visited the current website or customizations made by the visitor.
  • A session cookie is temporarily stored in the computer’s memory while a visitor is on a webpage. Session cookies disappear when you close your browser.
